Over the last decade and counting, Thinc driving school has been providing exceptional driving tuition to students in a range of areas.
Our passionate Instructors are fully qualified and DSA-approved. At Thinc Driving, we deliver driving lessons specifically tailored around you, from weekly driving lessons to intensive courses. Whatever it may be, we guarantee that we will have a bespoke lesson plan for you. Along your journey, our instructors will give you the skills and expertise to drive comfortably, and when your test arrives, you can be sure of passing with confidence.
Our effective driving lessons have resulted in excellent pass rates and a high level of satisfaction amongst pupils. Over the last decade our vision and ethos have been instrumental in our success.

Driving is an invaluable life skill that can open up doors of opportunities, providing levels of freedom for both working life and leisure.
To start driving for the first time, you must apply for and hold a valid provisional driving license for Great Britain or Northern Ireland. To do this please contact the DVLA in Swansea. You may apply online, in person or by post. This can be done up to 3 months prior to your 17th birthday or at any time thereafter.
It is also important to ensure that you have reasonable eyesight before you drive. Whilst there is no formal test required, it may be useful to see an optometrist if you are in any doubt, although a simple check will be sufficient for most. The legal requirement is that you can read a new style number plate from a distance of 20 meters, or an old-style number plate from a distance of 20.5 meters.
